My first radio show

I just finished my first radio program, where I interviewed Phil Liberatore running for the congressional seat in the 42 district.
I also got a chance to take calls from the actor Robert Davi, and Bogie from CBS 2 News.

This is the first program recording and we hope to do a lot more. The show is called, "Behind the Scenes, peeling back the curtain of politics, business and show-biz"
The Website is www.Behindthescenesshow.com even though the site is a blank page right now. the program will run on Friday night, although I don't know yet on what station, because the airtime hasn't been sold yet. I do know that it will be archived and you would have the ability to podcast it after it airs on this website----CCM-Radio.com. But that is all I know
more to come...

Red Light Tickets -- My biggest pet peeve

I could launch into a nice 30 minute diatribe about how red light cameras are unconstitutional, but I would like to instead post this story instead:
This story is found in the 'Athens Banner-Herald" newspaper

Cameras no show in court
By BLAKE AUED - blake.aued@onlineathens.com

Key witnesses failed to show up for trial Tuesday in Athens-Clarke Municipal Court.
Lawyer Regina Quick, defending two clients from charges that they were photographed running red lights, subpoenaed five traffic cameras at the West Broad Street-Alps Road intersection to testify that her clients did indeed barge through on red.
"I didn't observe them as they came in, so I don't believe they'll be appearing," Quick said.
Jim Davis, the assistant county attorney who prosecuted the cases, said Quick should have subpoenaed county officials to produce the cameras if she needed them to make her case.
"It's not proper to serve an inanimate object, such as a camera," Davis said.
Municipal Court Judge Kay Giese found the defendants not guilty because Athens-Clarke County failed to produce any evidence that they are the registered owners of the cars caught on film illegally turning left on red, she said - not because the cameras did not come to court.
But Quick's tactic spoke to what many people loathe about red-light cameras: That they can essentially be ticketed by a machine, not a human being. The cameras snap a picture of a car's license plate when it runs a red light, then a citation is mailed to the car's registered owner.
Usually, the only way for the owner to get out of the ticket is to sign a legal document stating that he or she wasn't driving the car and naming who was. The tickets are not a criminal offense, so they are tried under different rules than most crimes.
Quick questioned a police lieutenant who signed off on the citations mailed to her client and a civilian technician who printed and mailed the images, both of whom said they do not know how the technology works. Therefore, she said, the cameras themselves are the only witnesses.
"It is Orwellian at best," she said.
State law, though, says that the picture is all the county needs to fine someone for running a red light, Davis said.
"The citation speaks for itself," he said. "There is no other evidence required."
Since they were installed, red-light cameras at the Lexington-Cherokee-Gaines School Road and Alps-Broad-Hawthorne Avenue intersections have drastically reduced the number of drivers who run those lights, especially young drivers who "caravan" through the intersections 10 or 12 at a time, Athens-Clarke Manager Alan Reddish said.
The number of tickets issued dropped from 1,791 in 2005 to 667 in 2009 at the Eastside intersection and from 13,222 in 2007 to 4,043 last year at the Westside intersection because drivers now know the cameras are there, Reddish said.
Rear-end collisions are up slightly at those intersections, he said, but sideswipes that often result in more serious injuries are down, he said.

Illegals a good thing???

I live just outside the Los Angeles Metro area so I get to hear many sound clips from this douchbag mayor named Antonio Villaragosa. Usually most of the people out here laugh off his idiotic quotes, but his most recent one made me think.

So I just have one simple question Mr Mayor.
If the illegals contribute so much to the local economy of Arizona and that their presence is in fact a good thing. Then I have a solution that will solve Arizona's problem and according to Mr. Villaragosa's theory solve Califonia and Los Angeles's problems at the same time.

Tell Arizona to ship all the illegals from Arizona to Los Angeles. A full shipment of the the estimated 500,000 that reside there. Because if some is good more is better. If the benefits of having 1000 illegals in your town are so great what about having 5000? And how do they contribute to the economy when they pay no taxes and take jobs away from legal Americans anyhow?

So how about it Mr. mayor? Put your money where your mouth is... Actually please don't your money is actually OUR money and OUR local economy. So actually just put you mouth somewhere else for awhile.

Off Topic---- This is awesome

If you grew up like I did in the 80's (horrible decade by the way, only to be outdone by the 90's) you played lots of Nintendo. And no adult male under the age of 40 has not played Super Mario Bros. we might be black, white, asian, gay, straight, Democrat, Republican, Pastor's son, or Atheist. We all share this connection.
Maybe that is the secret to World Peace. Peace through video games.
Anyhow, I found this awesome version of Super Mario Bros, that you can play for free using other famous Nintendo characters.
So bring a smile back to your face and make you day a little brighter by playing a few levels shooting Goombas with a Mega Man Blaster. Maybe it will take your mind off how much tax debt we have to pay off.

IF it wasn't for that darn media I'd be able to get away with more

PRESIDENT OBAMA: "Meanwhile, you're coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don't rank all that high on the truth meter. With iPods and iPads; Xboxes and PlayStations; information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment. All of this is not only putting new pressures on you; it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy."

Does Obama remember that he and his campaign advertised on Xbox during the election?
Funny how he is upset that disinformation can be spread rappidly through all these mediums, but he fails to mention how that dissinformation that can be spread rappidly can come from the government too. Funny how he left that part out.

I have never in my life seen a president get more favorable coverage from the media. They have completely ignored major 'items' in his administration and helped him along during the election process.
For him to complain... well it is kind of like the pot calling the kettle... Oops I better not say any further; I don't want to be labeled a racist.

The Arizona Bill

Some people need to learn to read...
No I am not talking about the illegals, who are always being told to learn to speak and read English. I am talking about the protesters and those in the media.
Here is the law verbatim:

B. FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OF THIS STATE OR A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OF A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE WHERE REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS THAT THE PERSON IS AN ALIEN WHO IS UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES, A REASONABLE ATTEMPT SHALL BE MADE, WHEN PRACTICABLE, TO DETERMINE THE IMMIGRATION STATUS OF THE PERSON, EXCEPT IF THE DETERMINATION MAY HINDER OR OBSTRUCT AN INVESTIGATION. ANY PERSON WHO IS ARRESTED SHALL HAVE THE PERSON’S IMMIGRATION STATUS DETERMINED BEFORE THE PERSON IS RELEASED. THE PERSON’S IMMIGRATION STATUS SHALL BE VERIFIED WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PURSUANT TO 8 UNITED STATES CODE SECTION 1373(c). A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR AGENCY OF THIS STATE OR A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE MAY NOT SOLELY CONSIDER RACE, COLOR OR NATIONAL ORIGIN IN IMPLEMENTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SUBSECTION EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE UNITED STATES OR ARIZONA CONSTITUTION. A PERSON IS PRESUMED TO NOT BE AN ALIEN WHO IS UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES IF THE PERSON PROVIDES TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OR AGENCY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. A VALID ARIZONA DRIVER LICENSE.
2. A VALID ARIZONA NONOPERATING IDENTIFICATION LICENSE.
3. A VALID TRIBAL ENROLLMENT CARD OR OTHER FORM OF TRIBAL IDENTIFICATION.
4. IF THE ENTITY REQUIRES PROOF OF LEGAL PRESENCE IN THE UNITED STATES BEFORE ISSUANCE, ANY VALID UNITED STATES FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDENTIFICATION.

Please tell me what is so 'unconstitutional' about this law.
when you are pulled over for speeding, what does the officer ask you for? Proof of insurance and Drivers license. If you don't have one; you are in trouble. Before an officer of the law didn't have the right to ask you about your legal status. Now when you are pulled over for speeding (which in Arizona happens a lot because of all the cameras, which will be a post from me at a later date) you are asked for proof of insurance and Drivers License, when you don't have one, the officer can ask you to prove you are a citezen, if you aren't he can give you over to the FED's for deportation.

But according to Obama, you will get hassled taking your kids to go get ice-cream
REFERENCE NOTE: Obama’s exact ice cream quote: “But now suddenly if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed, that’s something that could potentially happen.”

Actually, “papers” consist of a legal driver’s license, as stated in the law. Have a legal driver’s license, all of the Apocalypic nonsense goes away.

All of these “what ifs” can’t hide the fact that if I get stopped, I have to have a legal driver’s license. Why should it be any different for anyone else–especially someone here ILLEGALLY?

The ‘onus’ is on every citizen now. It’s called a driver’s license and you have to have it when you rent a motel room, fly on a plane, buy some over-the-counter allergy medicine, try to return a gift without a gift recepit (Target and Toys R US-- Damn You!)and any other number of everyday tasks.

The law doesn’t suck: it merely enforces the federal laws that are not being enforced now.
The fact is Arizona passed the law because the Fed was not enforcing the law that is already on the books.
The United States constitution states: ARTICLE IV. Sect. 4. The United States shall guarantee, to every State in this Union, a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion.
Arizona with over five hundred thousand illegal nationals (an estimate that by all means is conservative) and more coming across its border daily constitutes an invasion of the state. When you add all states bordering Mexico and their illegal nationals, you have a severe national crisis. Yet, Obama and congress are still failing to honor their oath to American citizens.
If the feds aren’t going to enforce laws, I suggest they start with the tax laws.
